**A Thai woman has been arrested for allegedly having sex with monks and then blackmailing them with photos and videos of the encounters, police said on Tuesday.**

**The suspect, identified only as"Ms Golf", is believed to have extorted around 385 million baht ($11.9m; £8.8m) from at least nine monks over three years, according to investigators.**

**Police said they found more than 80,000 explicit photos and videos during a raid on her house earlier this month.**

**"This was her modus operandi - she would have sexual relations with monks, record the acts, then demand money by threatening to expose them," police spokesman Krissana Pattanacharoen told reporters.**
